On 22 - 24 April 2018, ISDEV members consisting of ISDEV Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zakaria Bahari, ISDEV Deputy Director, Dr. Fadzila Azni Ahmad, ISDEV lecturers, Professor Muhammad Syukri Salleh, Dr. Shahir Akram Hasan, Dr Murni Yusoff, Dr Azreen Hamiza Abdul Aziz as well as ISDEV Alumni, participated in the Bengkel Kaedah Penyelidikan Berteraskan Islam (Islamic Research Methodology Worskhop). The workshop was held at the Centre for Language Studies and Generic Development (PBI), Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Bachok, Kelantan and was chaired by Dr. Nor Hisham bin Md. Nawi. On 23-25 March 2018, ISDEV has organised a hands-on human development camp (KEMPI’18) for its MISDEV16.2 and MISDEV17.1 students (ISDEV Postgraduate Masters (Mixed-Mode) students). This programme is an annual programme that emphasizes on the practical aspect of human development as an enrichment to the theoretical aspects covered in the class and it is also part of graduation requirement for MISDEV16.2 and MISDEV17.1 in the third semester. Theoretical and practical of corpse management For this year, KEMPI'18 was held at Kem Motivasi Mawaddah, Batu Kurau, Taiping, Perak. KEMPI’18 consisted of four main activities. First was Public Speaking which covered the delivering of  tazkirah ,  khutbah , parliamentary debate and presentation. Second was for the brothers to practice their role as Imam and Bilal.
