ROUND TABLE DISCOURSE ON ISLAMIC QUALITY STANDARD (IQS) FOR ISLAMIC HOSPITALITY

One for the memento - Group picture of the participants and speaker of the Round Table Discourse on IQS for Islamic Hospitality On 26th July and 27th July, 2017, Centre for Islamic Development Management Studies (ISDEV) successfully conducted a Round Table Discourse on Islamic Quality Standard (IQS) for Islamic Hospitality. The round table discourse is part of the data findings and analysis of the CLMV research grant. The two days discourse was held at Ibnu Khaldun Room, Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPS), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). The speakers in action - very passionate in sharing the presented topic from left, Prof. Emeritus Dato' Wira Dr. Jamil Osman, Prof. Shaya'a Othman (centre) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor'ain Haji Othman (ringht)  The round table discourse involved seven sessions where four sessions were held on the first day while the remaining three sessions was held on the second day program. ISDEV DIRECTOR'S TARBIYYAH: THE REALISATION OF THE PRACTICE OF TAQWA IN ISDEV

Associate Prof. Dr. Zakaria Bahari delivered his Tarbiyyah at DKA On 21st July 2017, as part of the ISDEV tradition, ISDEV monthly supervision was held with a main ageda of ISDEV Director's Tarbiyyah. The Tarbiyyah is a medium to spread the positive vibe and to motivated all ISDEV family members. As for this month, ISDEV Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zakaria Bahari chose a title of 'The Realization of the Practice of Taqwa in ISDEV ( Bagaimana Untuk Merealisasikan Amalan Bertaqwa Dalam ISDEV). In beginning, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zakaria Bahari reminded ISDEV family members about the words of Allah SWT regarding those who break his words.   According to him, taqwa was an effort to obtain the blessing of Allah SWT and it is the key to happiness and success in this life and the hereafter. ISDEV EIDUL FITRI GATHERING

ISDEV Lecturers and En Kamaruddin Merican with lecturer and staff from School of Social Sciences, USM A belated but memorable news! On Friday, 21 July, 2017 - 26 Syawal 1438H, ISDEV with the cooperation of ABI (ISDEV Associate Members) took the opportunity to organize an Eidul Fitri gathering for its fraternity and friends. It was one of the activities organized with the aim to provide the platform for ISDEV members to bind further the ukhuwwah . The celebration took place at Dewan Kuliah A (DKA) Hall at 11am.  ISDEV Lecturers pose a memento for the Eidul Fitri  gathering ISDEV big family are enjoying the Hari Raya delicacies The harmony in ISDEV is possible through the strength of ukhuwwah amongst the ISDEV fraternity. Everyone took the opportunity to catch up with one another while indulging in various traditional delicacies.
